Free
Information session on
Home Battery Storage for Solar and Wind Power
At 7 pm on Tuesday 14th August 2018
Centacare
Meeting Room
21
Torrens Street, Richmond
Organised
by the Coal River Valley Sustainable Living Group.
Changes
in solar power feed-in tariffs at the end of this year mean a drop from a
payment of around 28 cents per kW to around 9 cents. This will have a big impact on power
bills. Installing storage batteries may be an economical solution for you
so that you can use all your own stored solar electricity rather than sending
it to the grid. There is also a possibility that the scheme on trial on
Bruny Island using linked home storage batteries to meet demand during peak
usage periods may be extended in some form to the rest of Tasmania.
Come and
find out what is happening in battery storage and options for using rooftop
solar power. It will help you to decide whether battery storage is a good
choice for you.
