News for November/ December  2012

The Richmond Community Food Garden was officially opened on 28th November by the Premier, Lara Giddings.  The ceremony was held in sunshine with an enthusiastic crowd in attendance.  The Leader of the Opposition, Will Hodgeman, Clarence City Mayor, Ald Doug Chipman, Aldermen and  representatives of Centacare Tamania were present. The residents of the Centacare Units and children from Richmond Primary School  will together be working in and benefiting from the garden.  The project is run by the Coal River Valley Sustainable Living Group.







We are celebrating a productive year with a BBQ at the Richmond Community Food Garden on Tuesday 11th December, from 5:30 onwards.  BYO everything.  There will be no Wednesday meeting.

Meetings will resume on Wednesday 13th February 2013 at 7 pm at the Community Meeting Room, 22 Torrens Street, Richmond.
